Just across the Maitai River from where I live. This lovely meadow was a favourite place for my two big black dogs. They are gone now, but painting here brings back such special memories.

The wonderful autumn colours are holding. This has been an amazing autumn. However, the first southerly blast will strip the trees, and those bleak winter days will be upon us. Let us enjoy this while we can.

Storm Waves, Rocks Road.

One of the fascinating things about these waves is the refraction that takes place as the waves reflect back off the sea wall and trip the next waves coming in. A wild afternoon, with a strong blustery northerly sweeping in past Haulashore Island.
